Salary: £35,500 - £40,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Their services span various settings, including residential care, supported living, day services, and community support.
The Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team collaborates closely with the operational team to deliver the best outcomes for those they support, especially individuals with significant behavioural needs. They adopt a person-centred, evidence-based approach aligned with the PBS Competency Framework and current best practices. Their goal is to enhance the quality of life for those we support and minimise restrictions through functional assessments, data analysis, direct support, service visits, observations, skill-teaching, and collaborative efforts.
I am seeking a dedicated individual passionate about making a real difference. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering responsive and positive services, supporting individuals with challenging behaviours, and leading others in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct support and staff training
* Conduct functional assessments and behavioural analysis
* Develop, implement, and evaluate PBS plans
* Work with individuals to enhance their skills and independence
* Support staff development in skills, confidence, and resilience
* Line manage the PBS team
This hybrid role allows for home-based work with travel to various services across Shropshire, Telford, and the West Midlands as needed.
Job Requirements
Essential:
* Relevant PBS qualification
* Experience in the PBS field, particularly with individuals presenting challenging behaviours
* Experience in completing assessments and developing PBS plans
* Strong leadership skills
* Full UK driving licence and own car with business insurance
Desirable:
* Previous experience in a PBS role
