We’re looking for a customer-focused AV Technician to join our client based in St Neots. You will be given full training on their products, so you can provide a strong level of service to the end users. Most tickets come in by email and can be responded to by email – you won’t be required to visit the site in the early stages; however, if this is an area of interest for you, then this can be arranged.
Full training is provided, along with a company bonus scheme, a friendly and welcoming team, a dog-friendly office, and opportunities to enhance your career, such as transitioning into a Tech Engineer, should this be of interest!
As an AV Technician, you will:
* Provide 1st/2nd Line AV Support remotely for a variety of different clients
* Become a product SME on their sound and lighting solutions
* Provide software and hardware support
* Track tickets and keep the ticketing system up to date
* Remotely log onto machines to troubleshoot issues
* Arrange for Engineers to visit the site should the issue not be fixable remotely.
Requirements for this AV Technician role:
* A minimum of 1 year as an AV Engineer (with a good technical understanding of different audio/visual solutions and products)
* Able to commute to Bedford 5 days a week
* High attention to detail
* Full right to work in the UK without any restrictions
