Test Equipment Response Engineer - Aerospace
Location: Cheltenham
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Negotiable on experience
Inside IR35 (Umbrella only)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Respond to test hardware failures through the business 'failure' workflow ticket system.
2. Conduct technical investigations on equipment failures and prepare failure reports to inform the business stakeholders.
3. Support root cause analysis (FRACAS) with the Engineering team.
4. Maintain compliance in accordance with mandatory regulations and company processes.
5. Identify design improvements and work closely with the engineering team to implement them.
6. Support the verification of new equipment to ensure it is fit for service.
Essential Qualifications:
1. City and Guilds standard in a relevant discipline.
2. Demonstrable experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
Desired Skills and Characteristics:
1. Experienced Hardware/Repair Engineer.
2. Experience working within a fast-paced engineering production environment.
3. Capable of diagnosing electrical and electronic test systems and comfortable working as a team.
