As, Estates Equipment Manager you will: Equipment Management & Maintenance – Oversee the specification, procurement, installation, and maintenance of equipment across all PDSA estates to ensure operational efficiency. Preventative Maintenance Scheduling – Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimise equipment downtime and reduce repair costs. Health & Safety Compliance – Ensure all equipment usage and maintenance adhere to relevant health and safety regulations and best practices. Inventory & Asset Tracking – Manage equipment inventory by tracking, auditing, and maintaining accurate records for efficient resource allocation. Supplier & Service Provider Coordination – Work with vendors and contractors to schedule equipment servicing, repairs, and procurement in line with PDSA’s operational needs. Budget & Performance Management – Monitor equipment performance, recommend upgrades or replacements, and manage budgets related to equipment procurement and maintenance. We’re seeking someone with: Facilities & Equipment Management Expertise – Proven experience in managing the provision, servicing, and maintenance of equipment within an estates or facilities environment. Health & Safety Knowledge – Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to equipment operation and maintenance. Organisational & Project Management Skills – Ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee multiple equipment-related projects while ensuring operational efficiency. Supply Chain & Inventory Management – Experience in managing supply chains, inventory tracking systems, and procurement processes. Stakeholder & Supplier Relationship Management – Ability to liaise with vendors, suppliers, commercial landlords, and contractors to ensure optimal equipment servicing. Sector-Specific Knowledge (Desirable) – Experience in the charity or non-profit sector, facilities certifications, or familiarity with veterinary equipment maintenance. Why Join Us?
