Our client is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead the preconstruction phase of high-value projects. This role is ideal for someone ready to take on responsibility and drive the success of projects from the initial concept all the way through to project commencement. Perks & Benefits Vehicle (or allowance) provided Phone and laptop included Uniform provided Key Responsibilities Lead the preconstruction phase from RFQs, cost planning, design coordination, and contract negotiation to project programming. Collaborate closely with the sales and design teams to ensure seamless project progression. Organise and carry out site visits with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. Develop and manage cost plans, leading client discussions on project costs and technical aspects. Ensure all designs are in line with client requirements and budget constraints, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors. Coordinate and submit building regulations applications and assist with any planning applications. Provide valuable input for risk registers and Pre-Construction Information packs. Conduct contract reviews and negotiate final agreements with key suppliers and subcontractors. Create detailed project programs in collaboration with the design and operations teams. Arrange project handover meetings from sales to operations to ensure a smooth transition. Attend and facilitate client project meetings, preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and ensuring clear communication. Manage project variations and ensure constant communication across all teams involved. Requirements At least 3 years of experience in the commercial fit-out sector or related fields. Proven experience in project management, estimating, and cost planning for commercial projects. Strong understanding of building regulations, project programming, and contract negotiation. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and other IT platforms. Membership of RICS or a relevant project management certification. Experience with design coordination and technical aspects of preconstruction. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers. Why Join?
