Job Title: Adult Social Worker – Hospital Team
Location: Southwark
Rate: £32 per hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join Southwark’s Hospital Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
As an Adult Social Worker in the Hospital Team, you will use your professional judgment and authority to intervene with individuals, families, and communities to promote independence, provide support, and prevent harm, neglect, and abuse. You will assess the implications of change on people’s lives and proactively advocate for personalisation, ensuring that individuals have choice and control over their own support needs.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England. You should have experience in hospital-based social work, as well as a strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices. Excellent assessment and advocacy skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
