Job Description JOB - Sales Engineer LOCATION - Oxfordshire TERM - Permanent SALARY - £30,000-£40,000 p/a Premier Engineering is working with a well-established engineering company based in Oxfordshire that is looking to hire a Sales Engineer. Experience in the aerospace or defence sector is highly desirable for this role. The Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: A degree or qualification in Engineering, Business, or a related field (HND, HNC, BEng, BSc, etc.). Previous experience in a technical sales or business development role within engineering or manufacturing. Knowledge of the aerospace or defence industry, including its standards and regulations. Strong technical understanding to discuss engineering solutions with customers. Proven ability to generate leads, manage customer relationships, and close sales. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office. The Sales Engineer role will involve: Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the aerospace and defence sectors. Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients. Providing technical support and guidance to customers regarding product specifications. Preparing and delivering sales proposals, quotations, and presentations. Negotiating contracts and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. Collaborating with internal teams, including engineering and production, to ensure customer requirements are met. Attending industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to promote the company's capabilities.
