Are you our next Assembly Operative?
The circuits and accessories team within Breas Medical UK construct and dispatch breathing accessories and other device accessories which are critical to allow our clients to connect to and use their breathing devices correctly and are vital to their health and wellbeing.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assembly Operative to join our team. In this role, you will assemble breathing circuits and accessories, prepare shipments, and ensure quality and compliance standards are met. You’ll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, assist with training, and support various production and logistics tasks. Main Responsibilities
1. Key Responsibilities
* Assemble breathing circuits and accessories, including packing and completing dispatch documentation.
* Prepare shipments and complete courier dispatch notes.
* Identify and communicate quality issues to the QA team and segregate defective components.
* Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist in logistics, stocking and stock-taking tasks.
1. Quality & Compliance
* Support QA investigations and regulatory projects.
* Ensure compliance with ESD protocols, quality control standards and company procedures.
* Identify and address deficiencies in components and communicate potential efficiencies.
2. Collaboration & Training
* Assist with training new team members and support supervisors and managers as needed.
* Contribute to the development of production manuals, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Participate in R&D or engineering change projects as required.
3. Documentation & Reporting
* Collect and analyze KPIs, and complete data input or reporting tasks.
* Report stocking issues and maintain accurate documentation for dispatch and production.
This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to quality and improvement.
To be successful in this job, we believe that you possess the following requirements and skills:
* A history within a production environment.
* Ability to work within a quick evolving and time-driven workplace.
* Dexterous, precise and quality driven.
* Able to follow standard operating procedures.
* Strong communication skills and a positive outlook.
* Experience of working within a highly regulated industry a plus, but not essential.
