Excellent IT skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people including patients, clinicians and other departments are essential. Training will be provided. Knowledge of NHS administration systems would be advantageous as well as previous typing experience What we'll need you to bring Educated to standard grade Knowledge of health records gained through experience and/or qualification at SVQ level 2, ECDL or equivalent. Customer care skills Experience in multi tasking Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection Computer literate with good keyboard skills Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative (working alone) Good interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff at all levels It would be great if you also have SVQ2, ECDL or equivalent Previous experience of health records environment Knowledge of filing systems Ability to work in a demanding and busy environment Ability to efficiently process and electronically scan paperwork in accordance with set timescales ensuring high quality work output.
