As a Complex Pathway Practitioner, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable children and young people to overcome challenges and thrive. You’ll work closely with young people, families, and professionals to create bespoke pathways through proven interventions that enable re-engagement with education/further education and promote overall well-being. You will: be supporting young people in building self-esteem and confidence assist in the delivery of sessions on topics such as healthy relationships, online safety, and county lines awareness use creative and engaging approaches to help young people manage risks effectively collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative solutions for overcoming challenges maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports for use by professionals. build secure, positive relationships with young people, their families, and multi-agency professionals deliver high-quality, tailored interventions in community and educational settings provide targeted interventions addressing vulnerabilities such as exploitation, online safety, and gang involvement contribute to collaborative strategies that help young people return to education and achieve their full potential promote and uphold CF Group’s safeguarding policies, ensuring all interactions are compliant with current legislation. Essential Qualifications and Experience: Experience working with vulnerable children, particularly those at risk of exploitation or involved in the criminal justice system. Proven ability to build supportive, professional relationships with children, families, and other professionals. GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent Level 2 qualifications). Strong knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities and procedures. Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Experience in alternative education settings or supporting children outside traditional school environments. A background in delivering training or guidance to colleagues. Key Skills and Attributes: Resilient, calm, and professional under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with secure grammar and sentence construction. Knowledge of SEND, trauma-informed approaches, and strategies for managing positive behaviour. Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Additional Requirements: A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with business insurance and breakdown cover. Flexibility to travel and work non-standard hours when required.
