Are you in broking or underwriting? Do you have an eye for detail and want to work in researching, designing, and delivering best-in-market insurance products and propositions to drive future growth in the business?
This can range from research projects to support the broking team, designing and delivering exclusive policy wordings, or delivering schemes from insurers.
You will be working for a broker who set out with a bold vision to revolutionise insurance, making it faster and better. They believe the problem with traditional insurance is that it's not designed to serve the needs of high-growth, next-generation businesses. It often holds these companies back and can leave them exposed without the right products and advice. You will be working with some of the UK's most successful tech scale-ups, all backed by the crème de la crème of venture capital firms.
Joining a business that has already surpassed £10 million GWP in 3 years and is soaring towards the ambitious goal of becoming a £100 million GWP business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Insurance market product research - finding the best policies and solutions for our clients.
* New product design - working closely with the Capsule Brokers on product design.
* Negotiating with insurers to develop exclusive and market-leading insurance policies.
* Supporting the senior leadership team in designing and agreeing on new schemes with insurers.
* Creating reports and attending meetings with insurers.
* Driving progress on key initiatives.
* Setting up new insurer agencies.
* Supporting the design, arrangement, and administration of innovative insurance products.
* Broking team file audit and compliance.
Insurance experience is essential for this role, along with strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to listen and engage with people. You will also challenge assumptions and think 'outside the box'.
This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days in the office, so if you are in or around (an hour max ideally) Cheltenham, we want to hear from you!
