You will be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a Registered Manager.
As part of the team and along with other professionals, you will provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child. You will act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change.
The role is shift pattern based: Two shifts on and four shifts off.
Your Skills
We want people who are naturally caring, flexible and resilient, with a good degree of emotional intelligence.
The Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent is a role requirement; however, if you don’t already have this, then we will enrol you on the course at no cost to you! Further experience and previous qualifications are not necessary but will be recognised in your hourly pay rate.
You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins, with full-time and part-time hours being available.
We would be excited to hear how you can join us in helping care for children to lead happy, healthy and successful lives, so please contact us today.
