Job Purpose:
The core objective of the Business Consultant role is to leverage a deep understanding of Managed IT Service Provider principles, applying our proven framework and training to deliver results.
Drawing from extensive experience in the MSP industry, including sales, finance, and service, you will use established methodologies to guide partners through business transformation and optimisation.
Skilled in turning partner needs into effective, actionable practices, you will develop, maintain, and evolve real-world solutions that stay aligned with ongoing industry changes. By combining your expertise with our tailored tools and strategies, you will help clients improve their business performance and achieve sustainable growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage and nurture partner relationships, overseeing PSA & RMM implementations and engagement to provide mentorship and training on effective strategies to enhance their performance.
• Helping our partners to mature their business and operational strategies.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the key elements that contribute to the success of Managed Service Providers in the areas of Sales, Service, and Finance
• Helping our partners to unlock growth, and secure long-term profitability.
• Develop workflows, templates, and logical processes, incorporating automation to optimise operational efficiency.
• Assess business data to identify partners’ operational challenges and opportunities for enhance their strategies.
• Discuss and consult clients on challenging issues to ensure compliance with industry or company standards.
• Travel to customer sites for in-person consultations and support as needed.
• Act as an escalation point for junior team members, fostering their professional development.
• Meet or exceed key performance indicators and metric requirements.
Qualifications:
* Must have 10+ years proven experience in client engagement and strategy within the Managed IT Support Provider Industry.
* Preferred knowledge and experience of PSA, CRM, or ticketing systems within an MSP. Bonus points for experience in implementing and migrating core systems.
* Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to mentor and coach team members effectively
