Our client located in Laindon is looking for a Temporary Receptionist Hourly Rate: £12.50 Location: Onsite Job Type: Temporary (Approximately 2 weeks) Start Date: Friday, 14th March Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm We are seeking a temporary Receptionist to cover for a period of sickness. This role involves managing a Teams-based switchboard, typing emails, booking travel arrangements, and general office tasks such as filing and scanning. This position is ideal for someone who is organised, efficient, and can start immediately. Day-to-day of the role: Handling incoming calls and managing the switchboard via Microsoft Teams. Typing and sending out emails as required. Booking travel arrangements. Filing and scanning documents to keep our records up-to-date. Ensuring the reception area is tidy and presentable. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role. Proficient in using Microsoft Teams and general office software. Excellent typing skills and email management. Ability to handle a multi-line phone system. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
