What we are looking for:
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of raw materials into our production processes. You'll use analytical methods to forecast, plan, and manage raw material stock levels, supporting the procurement team and ensuring the business is always equipped to meet customer demand. Your work will directly contribute to the efficient running of the supply chain, helping optimise procurement and stock management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Management:
●Manage and monitor stock levels in external cold stores, ensuring stock meets agreed levels and age parameters.
●Coordinate raw material intakes into the business MRP system and ensure accurate booking for audit purposes.
●Customs administration.
●Create a raw material requirements plan by processing production volumes through the MAbB software
●Stock invoicing.
●Perform regular stock checks and reconciliations at cold storage facilities.
●Oversee the blast freezing and tempering processes to ensure raw materials are prepared to the required specifications.
Logistics & Coordination:
●Liaise with the transport team and suppliers to schedule deliveries, ensuring raw materials arrive at the correct time and place to meet production needs.
Supplier Performance:
●Analyse supplier KPI data, identify potential supply chain disruptions and communicate findings to the wider team.
Continuous Improvement:
●Collaborate with the Supply Chain Team Leader to continuously improve stock control and planning processes, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
●Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, with 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in the food industry).
●Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting and presenting data in a clear, actionable format.
●Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with advanced knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
●Excellent attention to detail and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
●A proactive and tenacious approach to problem-solving.
●Strong communication skills, working effectively across departments and with external suppliers.
