The Purchasing Administrator is purely there to support the two most senior members of the Purchasing Team on some of the highest profile projects. You will be comfortable and confident in an engineering/manufacturing environment and used to working on a number of projects at any one time.
As their newly appointed Purchasing Administrator, you will be employed on a 9 Month Maternity Cover Contract, but you will be employed like a permanent member of staff so that you can still benefit from their benefits package system.
Responsibilities:
1. Raising Purchase Orders through their bespoke system.
2. Chasing statuses of various outstanding purchase orders through speaking to suppliers both via email and telephone.
3. Collaborate with various internal teams such as Manufacturing and Warehouse on the updates of orders.
4. Update customers both verbally and via written communication on the status of orders.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience of working in a Purchasing Support role e.g. Purchasing Coordinator, Purchasing Administrator, Junior Buyer.
2. Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
3. Confident with using purchasing specific systems (MRP, ERP).
