Key Responsibilities:
* Gaining a comprehensive understanding of assigned accounts and leveraging this knowledge to enhance communication strategies for our clients' brands.
* Leading scientific conversations with medical professionals and external specialists, offering proactive suggestions that are appreciated by the client.
* Creating content for a diverse array of projects while taking on broader responsibilities for assigned accounts by supervising, briefing, and reviewing the work of fellow writers.
* Playing a key role in shaping the scientific strategy and ensuring that messaging and content align with the overall brand vision.
* Working closely with internal teams, including account managers, creative staff, editors, and medical strategists, to guarantee smooth project execution.
* Sharing insights and expertise, along with providing specialized advice and support on brands and therapeutic areas to internal team members.
* Keeping abreast of industry developments, guidelines, and best practices to enhance the quality of our medical writing.
* Driving business growth by actively seeking out opportunities, participating in pitches, and contributing to written proposals.
Essential criteria:
* An essential requirement is an undergraduate degree in a relevant scientific field, while a postgraduate qualification or PhD is considered desirable.
* Candidates should have demonstrated experience in medical writing, preferably within a medical communications agency or a comparable setting.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial, along with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
