Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Helpdesk Administrator for our client, a well-established facilities management company based in Lanarkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation and play a vital role in coordinating and managing maintenance and repair works efficiently. Responsibilities Handle incoming maintenance requests, ensuring accurate logging and prioritisation based on urgency. Oversee work scheduling, coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and necessary resources for efficient task completion. Maintain up-to-date records, tracking ongoing and completed jobs while ensuring all relevant documentation is logged. Assist with procurement by raising purchase orders for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, ensuring approvals and documentation are in place. Act as the primary contact for clients, engineers, and subcontractors, facilitating clear communication and addressing any queries or issues. Monitor job progress, ensuring deadlines are met and proactively managing any potential delays. Contribute to reporting and documentation by compiling key information on job completion, performance metrics, and overall service delivery. Skills & Experience Previous experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within facilities management or a related field. Strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring priorities are handled effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, engineers, and subcontractors. Proficiency in using databases, job management systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate recording and updating of information. Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong focus on delivering excellent service.
