Rowan Cardiology Ward at Barnet Hospital have vacancies for enthusiastic and dynamic Band 5 nurses who would like the opportunity to specialise in Cardiac Nursing.
Rowan Ward are co-located on Level 0, with the Cardiac Catheter Lab and CCU also on the same floor.
The successful candidates will be able to enrich their experience in all areas as the departments work closely together and internal rotation is promoted.
Main duties of the job
Our cardiology ward, Rowan is a 24 bedded dedicated cardiology ward.
Staff will, ideally, have 6 months post registration experience, excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team.
Successful candidates will enjoy full training and support from our experienced staff, all you need is a desire to learn, enthusiasm and a commitment to provide an excellent care for our patients.

* Evidence of recent and ongoing professional development
Experience
* Post registration experience working in an acute hospital setting
* Awareness of current professional nursing issues
* Demonstrates sound knowledge of infection control standards
* Evidence of experience conducting quality audits
* Experience supervising student nurses on placement
