You will need to: Be qualified to teach and work in the UK with excellent communication skills and the ability to develop effective relationships. Have e xperience of working with children and/or young people with communication, severe, profound or complex learning difficulties is highly desirable. Match the characteristics described in the Professional Standards for Teachers and required to fulfil the professional responsibilities which are common to all classroom teachers. Be responsible for making an impact on the education progress of students and improving the standards of learning and raising levels of student achievement for all students in the school.
