About the Role: The Head of Programmes and Change is a pivotal role in transforming the Council to be high performing and resident focused. You will lead on delivery of the Council’s Improvement and Recovery Plan and on high profile corporate programmes. You will ensure that this leads to impactful and sustained delivery of corporate and service improvements, that leaves a lasting legacy. This will require a relentless focus on continuous improvement, realising benefits through driving the delivery improvement programmes and excellent Programme Management Office support. An experienced and transformational programme manager and leader, you will raise the bar for programme management across the organisation. Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum spinal column point of the level has been reached. The payment of annual increments is not automatic and is subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by your Director.
