Ensuring efficient, cost-effective and timely movement of goods. This role requires a dynamic leader with extensive experience in sales, business development and operations within the Logistics and Freight industry. This is a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to build a business, utilising the Company’s foundation of freight relationships to drive strategic growth, develop strong customer relationships and optimise operational processes. Travel both within the UK and Europe may be required.Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement growth strategies to build the existing base into a highly profitable and efficient operationSales & Business Development: Drive growth through strategic sales initiatives, identifying new business opportunities and fostering strong relationships with existing key clients and freight partnersFinancial Management: Develop and manage the freight budget, monitoring expenses and ensuring financial targets are metCustomer Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with clients ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any operational issues promptlyMarket Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry and adjust strategies accordingly Qualifications Desired Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.Required Skills Proven experience in the freight, shipping or logistics industry with a track record in sales, business development and operations.
