CitySprint has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager in Oldbury to oversee all day-to-day operations at the Hub site, ensuring compliance with customer SLAs and Health and Safety standards. You will also support the Hub Manager – Out of Home in establishing a KPI-driven environment focused on service and revenue.
The main responsibilities within the Operations Team Leader role are:
10. Actively managing, supporting, and developing a team of supervisors and colleagues across the Hub Operation to deliver the collective Hub success via regular 121’s and objective and performance reviews
11. Supporting the Hub Manager to positively contribute to the success of the Hub through managing and optimising all resources.
12. Managing stakeholder relationships to ensure that CitySprint retains a positive commercial reputation.
13. Proactively managing and resolving direct customer, courier, and control queries by effectively communicating with other departments.
14. Ensuring all in-house systems are updated accurately and in a timely manner e.g. CityTrak, X-Despatch 3 and Salesforce.
15. Deputising for the Hub Manager as required.
16. Monitoring the operational costs and allocation of resources to ensure optimisation of revenue and profit, and proactively seeking to identify new opportunities for maximisation.
17. Producing concise reporting and analysing data effectively.
18. Proactively supporting growth through liaising with account management and sales teams whilst implementing new business.
19. Managing and monitoring the ‘end to end’ delivery process ensuring all couriers adhere to CitySprint SLA’s and legal requirements.
Skills needed for an Operations Team Leader:
20. Strong customer orientation and ability to build successful customer relationships
21. Full understanding of MS Office - including Excel, Word & PowerPoint
22. Data analysing skills
23. Previous experience in an Operations environment
24. Previous experience using operational systems
25. Full understanding of Hub KPI’s & SLA’s Experience managing a team
