Job summary An opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable breast health improvement practitioner has arisen. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is able to reach beyond the barriers to screening and encourage uptake through teaching, networking and specialised events. The post holder will also need the ability to collect and analyse data and provide reflective analysis of events. due to the nature of the role it is a Genuine Occupational Requirement, as outlined in Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, that only females may apply Main duties of the job To develop, coordinate and implement the provision of a multi-agency and highly complex specialist health promotion and health inequality strategy initiatives to target specific and specialist projects in relation to the Health Equity Assessment Tool (HEAT) for breast screening in raising awareness to increase uptake rates and to reduce health inequalities for the health inclusion cohorts. To evaluate the effectiveness of frequent targeted HEAT initiatives in specialist complex cohorts and autonomously present findings directly to senior stakeholders. To visit GP Practices and to liaise with health care professionals to be proactive in developing quality improvement initiatives systems and specialist projects to reduce breast health inequalities as part of the HEAT. To lead and facilitate promotional information and bespoke educational events in promoting Breast Screening to Health inclusion groups of women e.g. Asylum seekers and refugees, Disabilities, BAME Communities, Prison women and multiple complex needs cohorts as part of the HEAT.
