We have 83 children on roll aged 11-16 all of whom have an EHCP of a primary need of SEMH (amongst other complexities) aligned to their cognition and learning, neurodiversity and / or developmental trauma. All are vulnerable and many come from families that need support to enable them to help their children succeed in education and to become productive citizens. We continue to develop upon our strengths aligned to parental engagement (Leading Parent Partnership Award, July 18th, 2023) A professional demeanour and sense of humour are invaluable as is tenacity. Many parents have not had positive experiences of schools or social services and the ability to quickly forge appropriate positive trusting relationships is paramount. Ideally you will have undertaken Early Help and / or Level 2 Safeguarding training. This post has come about due to the significant growth of the school and to better prepare the school for further growth in the future. If you feel that this is an experience that fits your skills and qualifications, please call Lee Cross for further discussion. We would also encourage you to visit us (see below). You will need to understand and comply with the general requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act, 1974, and be prepared to attend training courses, if appropriate. You will also need to have CRB clearance (enhanced).
