Our client, a leading organisation in the finance industry, is looking for a Credit Controller to join their team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in managing and reconciling client payments, building strong relationships with clients and insurers, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:
* Handle premium payments to insurers with precision and timeliness.
* Prioritise tasks efficiently, swiftly address any issues, and collaborate with team members to resolve problems.
* Provide exceptional service to clients and insurers, strengthening relationships and streamlining processes.
* Work closely with clients, insurers, and brokers to accurately and promptly reconcile accounts.
* Manage any escalated issues, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in tracking systems.
* Support team members as needed and assist with additional tasks on occasion.
* Maintain a positive and professional attitude that aligns with our client's values.
Requirements:
* A basic understanding of insurance principles and client money regulations.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and our client's internal software.
* Strong numerical skills and exceptional organisational abilities.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
* A team-oriented mindset, adaptability, and effective communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage time efficiently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of cash collection and payment processes is a plus.
