The Opportunity
The IT Project Manager utilises a strong knowledge of industry standards for project management and Dechra Group IT Strategy to lead IT change through the full project lifecycle. They will execute various IT projects within the IT Portfolio; leading and operating in cross-functional, inter-company and country teams. They will operate within the guidelines of the PMO methodology and work with colleagues and peers to help expand the knowledge of effective project management across Group IT.
Role Responsibility
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
* Work with Finance to ensure Project Controls are fully aligned.
* Track deliverables and benefit realisation.
* Apply appropriate tools and techniques to plan projects effectively.
* Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and standards.
* Define project timelines, allocate resources, and drive progress of critical tasks.
* Help project team members progress through the delivery lifecycle from inception, design, build, testing, delivery, and adoption.
* Lead processes for project risk identification and resolution.
* Manage risk tracking process.
* Monitor and manage project objectives, scope & requirements.
* Manage project documentation.
* Work on multiple projects within the Company's project portfolio simultaneously.
* Foster productive partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and sponsors.
* Outlining, defining, and initiating the projects either working alone or with business stakeholders.
* Generate project reports and escalate relevant risks and issues in a timely manner.
* Responsible for personal health and safety.

Additional Information:
* Occasional global travel may be required with this role.
* This role is based in Northwich on a hybrid basis.
