About the Role
Are you a highly motivated individual with a keen eye for detail? Join the Logistics team as a Warehouse Operator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
While this list isn't exhaustive, your core duties will include:
Material Handling
* Safely load, unload, and move materials within the facility.
* Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
Inventory Management
* Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
* Monitor and maintain stock levels, conducting regular inventory checks.
* Accurately document inventory transactions and update systems as required.
Production Support
* Supply materials to production lines and assist with packaging, labelling, and storing finished goods.
* Monitor workflows and proactively communicate shortages or delays to supervisors.
Logistics Coordination
* Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring they are shipped on time to customers or suppliers.
* Organise and track shipments, maintaining proper documentation throughout the process.
Health & Safety
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
* Promptly report hazards or incidents to the management team.
What We're Looking For
Skills & Expertise
* Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing is desirable.
* Ability to operate material handling equipment (certifications are a plus).
* Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Basic computer proficiency for inventory and record-keeping systems.
* Willingness and ability to quickly learn and adapt through training.
