Sales Administrator
Ontex is a leading international provider of disposable personal hygiene solutions for all generations. To reinforce our Sales team we are looking for a Sales Administrator .
We are a leading international business in the production and sales of high-quality personal hygiene products within both retail and healthcare divisions. Personal hygiene includes Baby diapers & Pants, Feminine hygiene and Incontinence products. We are looking for a well organised individual to become an integral part of a team working on a priority retail customer. The role will predominantly be administrative, liaising between our international factories/production planners/customer service teams and the retailer/client; The key focus will be supply chain operations to ensure continued supply and 100% service level of goods. You will also work closely with the Key Account Manager (KAM) to supply all the necessary information for successful launches and support in any required administrative tasks..
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY TASKS
• To be the daily contact with the retailers logistic team and to create day-to-day reporting on stock levels per item and to optimise stock levels for all products.
• Ensuring 100% service satisfaction for the customer whilst also making sure that stock levels are a workable level for retail client as well as Ontex
• Responsible for escalating any issues with production and supply and managing accordingly.
• Providing after-sales support to retailer/client relating to stock & supply, including reviewing our weekly performance report and providing feedback directly to the customer.
• Responsible for managing raw material orders with the plant on a weekly basis & in line with upcoming launches.
• Work closely with the customer to introduce range changes with minimal disruption.
• Assist the KAM with monthly forecast planning and reviewing weekly sales data, informing the business of any production changes that are required.
• Manage and report on customer EPOS data on a weekly basis – flagging to the KAM any concerns or any potential impact to forecasting
• Support on administrative tasks required for customer listings
• Help deliver the sales and margin targets set by the annual budget
• Keep working capital under control (Forecasting accuracy and over dues follow up)
Type of person to fit this role
EDUCATIONAL:
• Bachelor degree (preferable if Business Economics or Business Administration)
EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in FMCG Sales would be an advantage but this could be someone’s very first role
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:
• Being well organised is a priority for the person to fulfil this role. They will be relied upon by all areas of the business to provide accurate information both internally and externally at all times to ensure continued supply of goods to our customer.
• They need to be able to build and maintain relationships throughout the business – not only with the commercial team, but also Technical, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer services and all other disciplines. These need to be built both vertically and horizontally throughout the business.
• Analytical ability – PC literate and able to crunch numbers. Skilled in the use of Excel but mainly is open and fast to learn how to use other IT solutions (SAP knowledge would be an advantage but must be open to learn)
• Ability to understand the Business Strategy and look at the “bigger picture”, as well as being able to create and implement winning action plans. Must also be able to understand and communicate the needs and constraints that customers may have that may act as possible road blocks to these plans.Language: Fluent English (additional European languages would be an advantage)
