£140 - £190 Per day
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 students
* Assess and evaluate students' progress to provide constructive feedback
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
Minimum Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Relevant degree in Education or related field
* Enhanced DBS check
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* At least 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting
Desired Skills:
* Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Effective classroom management techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
* Experience in teaching Year 5 students
* Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or behaviour management
The role involves working in a primary school environment, interacting with students, colleagues, and parents. Full-time hours are expected with occasional participation in extracurricular activities or events. The job is temporary, based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, and may require flexibility in terms of schedule and responsibilities.
