The Sheffield Primary Team are looking for Teaching Assistants who are available between 2-5 days per week for day-to-day supply or long-term cover across all Primary ages.\n\nWe have a very high number of roles available in SEN & Primary schools currently in the South Sheffield area and Rotherham, all of which require varying levels of experience. If you have experience within the care sector, within a nursery setting, come from a sports background or have previously worked within education - we would love to hear from you. If you or you know someone who is also an aspiring teacher, then this is a great way to gain experience and get paid whilst you do.\n\nRole responsibilities:\n\nWorking under the guidance of senior leadership to implement interventions and 1:1 work programmes (both in and out of the classroom)\nCollaborating with the class teacher to assist the effective delivery of the lesson plans\nHelping plan and set up classroom and outdoor activities to facilitate learning in alignment with the curriculum\nMaintaining good classroom behaviour and minimising disruptions\nEnsuring that pupils are engaged in the class and keep on track with work\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n\nNVQ 3 For Teaching Assistants (or equivalent) (Non-essential)\nOther relevant training, eg.
