Job Title: Director of Quality, Clinical Governance and Risk
Location: Remote (with London meetings possibly once a month plus service visits)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Circa £100,000
Key Purpose of the Role
As the Director of Quality, Clinical Governance, and Risk, you will be the cornerstone of excellence within our organisation. You will set and maintain the highest standards for the quality of services we provide to the people we support. Your role will encompass a comprehensive quality assurance process, including observation, auditing, adverse event analysis, data triangulation, coaching, and ensuring adherence to our standards and policies.
Essential Criteria
To thrive in this role, you must have:
* A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification in healthcare, social care, governance, or risk management, or a postgraduate qualification in healthcare or quality-related disciplines.
* Expertise in health and wellbeing within the context of social care or health organisations, with proven experience in a similar role.
* In-depth knowledge and experience in quality assurance, regulation, audit, and data analysis.
* A track record of influencing behaviour across large multi-disciplinary environments, including frontline workers and managers.
* Comprehensive understanding of current health and social care legislation.
* Ideally, knowledge of the PBS competency framework, standards of practice, and trauma-informed care.
Desirable:
* A postgraduate qualification in leadership, governance, quality, or risk management.
* Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., Institute of Risk Management, CQI).
