Whatwill you bedoing
Asa FTTH Engineer your core responsibilities will be
Worksafely according to National Roads and Street works Act includingSigning Lighting and Guarding Safe Working Practices PersonalSafety and GasTesting.
Ensureall activities are carried out in line with Health and Safetystandards including carrying out daily checks to ensure safe touse.
Installationof FTTH broadband services to residential premises includingcarrying out external and internal cablingwork.
Workingat heights up to 15 metres including working on Telegraph poles andladders.
Deliveringprofessional and quality customerservice.
Selfauditingwork to ensure it meets all company and clientstandards.
Ensuringall activities are carried out in line with Health and Safetystandards including carrying out daily checks to ensure safe touse.
Maintenanceof a clean and tidyenvironment.
Preparedto work in all weatherconditions.
Fibrecabling pulling jointing andtesting.

Weare looking for someone with the following skills andqualifications:
* Excellentcommunication skills. Good observational and analytical skills anda good eye fordetail.
* AFull UK Driving License is essential due to the fieldbased natureof the role candidates must have held this license for 1 year andhave a maximum of 6points.
* Fulltraining will be provided to the right candidate however candidateswith experience working on the BT Openreach network and hold NRSWAStreet Works qualifications aredesirable.
* Beable to communicate effectively and professionally with customersandclients
* Proactivein the resolution of engineering obstacles with liaison with TeamManagers
* Abilityto work with minimumsupervision.
* Abilityto work within ateam.
* Dedicationto delivering high levels of customerservice.
* Soundpractical knowledge and experience of Civils Cabling Splicing& testing and businessinstallations.
* Flexibilityto undertake works outside of core workinghours.

A Full UK Driving License is essential due to the field-basednature of the role, candidates must have held this license for 1year and have a maximum of 6 points.
