The leading consultancy firm is partnered with a leading IP service provider to look for a skilled Vulnerability Management Engineer for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension. This role is inside IR35 and requires three days per week onsite in West London.

Responsibilities:
* Configure and integrate Rapid7 with existing systems and data sources, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
* Identify, prioritise, and onboard assets, cloud accounts, and web applications into Rapid7 modules, including InsightVM, InsightAppSec, and InsightCloudSec.
* Perform testing, validation, and routine administration tasks, such as user management, system monitoring, asset management, ad-hoc scanning, and report generation.
* Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and detailed documentation of Rapid7 configurations, processes, and procedures.
* Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues, provide support, and plan for disaster recovery and security breach contingency measures.
Skills/Must have:
* Strong knowledge of threat and vulnerability management approaches, techniques, and commonly used security tools.
* Expertise in deploying and managing Rapid7 solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and maintaining comprehensive security monitoring and threat detection capabilities.
* Practical experience with Rapid7 modules, including InsightAppSec, InsightVM, and InsightCloudSec, along with hands-on knowledge of scheduling scans, configuring reports, and deploying scanners.
* Proficiency in API usage and experience with asset group, tag, and site creation within Rapid7.
* Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and operations, to align Rapid7 solutions with business objectives.
* Experience working with stakeholders and managing supplier relationships, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
