This role will involve teaching History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspiring students to explore the past while developing critical thinking and analytical skills. About the Role: As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to students at both KS3 and KS4. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative department, working with experienced colleagues who are committed to both student success and professional development. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging History lessons for KS3 and KS4 students. Ensure lessons are aligned with the national curriculum and help students prepare for their GCSE exams. Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters students’ love of History. Provide constructive feedback and monitor students’ progress, supporting their development throughout the year. Work collaboratively with the History department and other colleagues to share best practices. Contribute to the wider school community and ethos through extracurricular activities or departmental initiatives.
