Do you have the experience and skill set for the role of a SEN TA? This amazing opportunity requires a unique skill set and a passion for working with children. We are looking for a SEN TA to work with a child in a supportive primary school in Sheffield.
You will be supporting the child every day in lessons, ensuring they are engaged and receiving the support they need. If you have experience with children with autism, please include this in your CV.
To be considered for this role, you will need to:
* Have patience, as SEN pupils may take longer to understand concepts or complete tasks.
* Have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, particularly EBD, SEMH, or ADHD.
* Hold an up-to-date Enhanced DBS, preferably on the update service, or be willing to obtain one through us.
* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Have previous experience in a similar role within a mainstream primary school setting.
* Be confident in managing challenging behaviours.
* Be adaptable and nurturing with a positive demeanour.
* Maintain effective and trusting relationships.
* Remain positive and provide plenty of praise.
