Job Description:
Lincat, a leading name in commercial catering equipment with over 50 years of experience, is seeking an Accounts Administrator to join our friendly finance team in Lincoln. This role involves supporting purchase and sales ledger functions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure accurate logging of invoices daily on the Accounts system.
2. Upload invoices to the invoice approval system where applicable.
3. Post all invoices to the Nominal Ledger with correct coding for Purchase Ledger updates.
4. Maintain up-to-date invoice filing, at least weekly.
5. Monitor and maintain the accounts email inbox, printing invoices and statements as needed.
6. Process daily invoice runs, including emailing customers (automatic process) with manual interventions as required.
7. Input credit notes into customer accounts.
8. Assist with other duties to ensure the smooth operation of the Accounts Department, including answering the accounts telephone line.
Candidate Requirements:
Strong educational background with an aptitude for working with numbers. Previous experience is preferred. Ability to use initiative and thrive in routine yet sometimes pressurized environments is essential.
Holiday restrictions: No holidays to be taken 2-3 days before the fiscal month end.
