About The Role
We're searching for an innovative Performance Marketing Manager to lead Tropic's digital performance marketing efforts.
In this dynamic role, you'll report directly to the Head of Digital and E-commerce and work closely with the E-Commerce and Marketing teams. Your main goal is to enhance Tropic’s digital brand presence and increase traffic and customer acquisition through both paid and organic channels.
Leveraging your strategic mindset, deep understanding of digital marketing, and proven success in customer acquisition and brand growth within the skincare and beauty sector, you will craft and implement vibrant, impactful marketing strategies. This role requires collaboration with top-tier professionals to boost our digital presence and meet our ambitious objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Development & Optimisation
1. Lead the end-to-end delivery of traffic-driving digital marketing campaigns across Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, and SEO, working closely with the Marketing & Creative teams.
2. Use digital expertise to ensure engaging, high-performing creative and copy across all channels.
3. Continuously optimise campaigns to maximise ROI, ROAS, engagement, and conversion rates.
4. Develop and implement robust A/B testing strategies to drive incremental growth across key platforms.
Performance & Digital Strategy
1. Develop and execute a results-driven digital and performance marketing strategy, aligned with Tropic’s business ambitions and e-commerce goals.
2. Identify growth opportunities through data analysis, competitor benchmarking, and emerging digital trends.
3. Own and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient spending to achieve key performance targets while optimising agency investments.
Creative & Content Expertise
1. Lead the creative strategy for all paid channels, collaborating with the Marketing & Creative teams to brief and optimise assets.
2. Ensure all digital assets and creative content are tailored for maximum customer engagement and efficiency.
Data-Led Performance Analysis & Reporting
1. Track, analyse, and interpret campaign performance metrics using Google Analytics, Meta Ad Manager, and Power BI.
2. Present clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
3. Leverage expertise to upskill the wider Tropic team on the value and impact of digital marketing.
Agency & Partner Management
1. Oversee and nurture relationships with external agencies, ensuring performance-driven execution.
2. Collaborate with Social and PR teams to expand partnerships and amplify influencer and creator-led content.
What We’re Looking For
1. Proven experience: managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google/PMAX, Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest.
2. Essential: Previous experience managing digital marketing campaigns in the beauty and/or skincare industry.
3. Understanding of TikTok and experience in scaling and managing the platform.
4. Solid understanding of SEO best practices and implementation.
5. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
6. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
7. Proficiency in data analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Meta Ad Manager.
8. Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
9. Bonus: Experience with TikTok Shop.
What We Offer
1. Location: Tropic HQ is a short walk from Beddington Lane Tram stop, with direct links to East Croydon and Wimbledon.
2. Hybrid Working: Enjoy a blend of office (3 days) and remote (2 days) working.
3. Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
4. Salary: Starting from £45,000 per annum (depending on experience).
