About the Role
Reporting directly into the Head of Content Marketing, you’ll help us shape our brand personality and inspire a global marketing community. Here’s how…
* Create impactful visual content: design and produce engaging visual content tailored for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with the brand’s identity and objectives - working closely with the Design team.
* Capture compelling visuals: use photography and videography skills to create high-quality images and videos that resonate with target audiences and represent the brand accurately.
* Edit and produce video content: plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos that communicate complex ideas in a concise, captivating way. Working with freelancers, agencies and third party support as needed (on a global basis).
* Repurpose longform content: break down whitepapers, guides, and eBooks into short-form, snackable posts optimized for different platforms.
* Craft punchy short-form copy: write attention-grabbing captions, headlines, and posts that drive engagement and highlight the brand’s personality.
* Work closely with the Dotdigital people team: bringing the company culture to life.
* Content planning and scheduling: working in alignment with the Content Manager and Campaigns Team to enhance content calendars and meet marketing objectives.
* Optimize for each platform: ensure content is formatted and tailored for specific platforms, keeping audience preference and best practices in mind.
* Monitor trends and insights: stay up to date with industry trends and social media developments to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and effective.
* Analyze and report performance: track content metrics like engagement, reach, and conversions to measure success and inform future strategies.
* Collaborate with stakeholders: build strong relationships across departments and encourage employees to actively participate in video and content creation. Expanding this to customers and partners as needed. Building a strong bank of EGC and UGC content.
* Global travel: to our offices as needed to capture incredible on-the-ground content, culture content and post live social media updates.
About You
* Demonstrated expertise in creating and editing visual content, including photography, videography, and short-form video production.
* Ability to brief and manage agencies and freelancers to support your work as needed.
* Exceptional ability to craft engaging and concise short-form copy tailored for social platforms.
* Strong understanding of platform-specific content optimization and current social media trends and influencers around the world.
* Experience repurposing long-form content into impactful, snackable posts.
* Collaborative mindset with experience working closely with design teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
* A natural storyteller with the ability to bring a brand’s personality and values to life.
* Knowledge of performance analysis, with experience using metrics to guide content strategy improvements.
* Strong organizational and scheduling skills, with the ability to support global content calendars and campaigns.
* Passion for building relationships and encouraging active participation in content creation.

Interview Process
* 15min Screening Call with Team Talent
* First stage intro chat with Head of Content Marketing to talk through the details of the role and see how candidate experience aligns.
* Task brief to be sent to candidate with a 5 day window in which to complete and return the task.
* If the task meets the brief, second stage interview with Head of Content Marketing and CMO to talk through the task and the completion process.
* Final stage = 20 min virtual coffee with the Content Team as a culture check on both sides.
