Brief Description
As part of the East Coast leadership team, you will report to the Route Director and lead a team providing expert guidance and support on health, safety, and sustainability. You will be influencing the vision and direction of SHE improvements impacting over 2,600 direct employees as well as millions of passengers and the public that interface with the East Coast rail network.
Alongside workforce health and safety, this role covers specialist areas of risk, including operational safety and public interface at level crossings so you will need to be comfortable leading in areas you may not be an expert in and where different or bespoke options to reduce risk need to be considered.
