The Role
We are looking for a Primary/Secondary SEND Teacher to help support pupils within a SEND environment. Working as part of an established team, the desired SEND Teacher will be supporting children 1-1 or in small groups. This role will be Monday to Friday 8:30 – 15.30.
The School
This SEND School in Gloucester, is an independent specialist school for autistic young people aged 7-16. They aim to provide a broad and balanced education within a happy, stimulating and healthy environment in which they want each young person to thrive. All of their students will be supported to learn at their own level through adapted teaching. They provide access to a range of excellent educational opportunities, certified subjects and national accreditations, as well as vocational and life skills subjects to prepare pupils for life beyond school.
Requirements
- Experience working with SEND children
- Have a caring and positive nature
- Be able to build positive relationships with children and young people
- Understand the crucial importance of keeping young people and children safe.
- Be willing to pay for a DBS check and register with the Update Service .
- Driving License

Salary
£160 - £210 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
