Yardley Primary School is a 2 form (expanding to 3 form) entry community school situated on the edge of Chingford in Waltham Forest with a long-proven record of academic success. We are looking to recruit a SEN teaching Assistant to work in Reception initially with possibility of working in Nursery, KS1 or 2. They will; work under the supervision of teaching staff to undertake care and support programmes for pupils support individuals or a small group with learning tasks assist pupils in participating fully in school life support learning of targeted pupils within the class carry out Maths and English interventions carry out speech and language programs has experience of working with children who have a high level of support needs, particularly Autism ideally has knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework support with lunchtime will include personal care of children As part of the SEN team, staff may be asked to support children in any year group with a variety of needs.
