Job Overview: University College Birmingham is seeking a Communications and Engagement Officer who will play a pivotal role in managing our communications and engagement with key stakeholders. We are looking for a communication specialist with a passion for Higher Education to lead the development of creative and engaging content on a broad range of channels to support our student recruitment activities, enhance our reputation, and actively manage our external brand. The successful candidate will act as the hub for all media communications, responding to media enquiries, liaising with colleagues internally and externally to tell our story. The role requires experience of working in a media/public relations role, delivering media projects and strategic communications, and working in an energetic environment. The post holder will be an excellent communicator in all mediums, with the ability to motivate and support others to deliver.
