Outdoor Activity Instructor (Seasonal) at the Anderton Centre
If you are looking to use your NGB qualification to create a positive impact on the people you coach then this is the role for you!
We have multiple opportunities to join our seasonal team leading, supporting and encouraging our visitors around our fantastic outdoor learning facility. You will be responsible for the safety of our visitors as well as making sure the equipment is well maintained, be on hand to assist with special events and contribute to the continued success of the centre.
This role will suit someone who is:
1. Passionate about outdoor learning
2. Has exceptional communication skills
3. Has a good understanding of health and safety and safeguarding legislation
Main Duties will include but not be limited to:
1. Providing high-quality outdoor activities to our guests.
2. Occasionally taking the lead on day visits and residentials.
3. Liaising with customers during their visits.
4. Communicating with each group.
What you need to demonstrate on your CV and cover letter:
1. Experience providing and supporting outstanding sessions for our customers.
2. A positive and willing attitude to get stuck in on session and all other duties.
3. Understanding of health and safety practices to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
4. First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one, to provide initial assistance during medical emergencies.
5. Safeguarding Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
You must also hold at least one of the following:
1. Paddle UK Coach Award (UKCC Level 2, Paddle Sport Leader)
2. MT Hill and Moorland Leader

In our amazing grounds and the reservoir, we use outdoor activities such as sailing and archery to offer a programme of confidence enhancing, team building and critical thinking activities. There are multiple roles available on either a fixed-term contract or a casual basis.
Hours: We can offer 37.5 hours per week over 7 days including evenings and weekends.
Salary: 18-20 years old £10.00 p/h, 21+ £12.21 p/h
