Job Title: Rental Manager Location: Newbridge, EH28 8PJ Role Overview: As the Scotland Rental Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our commercial vehicle business. You will lead your rental teams to deliver exceptional service while collaborating with account and sales managers to ensure a seamless and compelling customer experience. You’ll develop and implement strong operational processes, ensuring consistent training and efficiency across the team, all while maintaining high service levels. Your focus will be on achieving key performance metrics, including RPD, revenue, days, and utilization, to drive rental volume across all channels in Scotland. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading front-line operational teams to success, with a proactive, “can-do” attitude and a commitment to saying “Yes” to every opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the growth of our van business across Scotland by building a strong hire team between our 2 hubs in the region, ensuring resource is shared as to benefit our customers and achieving our KPI’s. Manage the rental teams, making sure our people are given the tools and support to succeed. Support the Commercial Vehicle Sales Team achieving their goals by managing the rental team to go above and beyond taking all bookings available. Regularly review pricing to maximise the retail opportunity across the Scotland area including sites outside the general hub network where opportunities are identified. Work with the D&M team to maximise service levels and providing replacement vehicles promptly where. Ensure compliance with business policy & procedure - escalates issues and action improvement plans where necessary Support the leadership team in identifying opportunities in terms of cost benefit or revenue growth and implement where approved. Work with key business partners across the business supporting our teams wider KPI’s Required Skills and Experience : Exceptional Communication: Strong ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.
