Accountable for all sourcing and contract management across their assigned categories. This will include the development and implementation of category strategies; the contracting for master/service/product agreements within the categories; the management of supplier relationships for these categories; and for ensuring the suppliers key to their categories commit to deliver GSK’s performance/quality/financial requirements.

In this role you will:
* Develop and execute procurement strategies for facilities management services, real estate, and fleet, including maintenance, waste management, security, cleaning, catering, document storage, office supplies, and other related services, in partnership with the business and key stakeholders, and in line with GSK and Procurement goals.
* Lead the end-to-end procurement process from supplier evaluation, selection, negotiation, contract management, and performance management including tracking and monitoring of service level agreements and performance standards.
* Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and value-added initiatives and negotiate favourable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand their category needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
* Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and supplier capabilities and to identify new vendors in line with agreed business requirements, managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, and addressing any performance or delivery issues, working across multiple countries requiring high cultural awareness, ensuring adherence to GSK's procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable procurement practices that support GSK's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.
* Leverage AI and other advanced technologies to enhance procurement processes, including spend analysis, supplier risk assessment, and predictive analytics for better decision-making.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:
* Experience in procurement alongside experience in facilities management procurement
* Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies and delivering cost savings. Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
* University degree - Procurement, Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
* Master’s degree - Procurement, Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* Develop strategy for the procurement of Facilities Services, Real Estate, and Fleet designed to ensure high quality of services and ensure GSK’s competitive position.
* Contracting experience required, including a thorough understanding of contracting fundamentals and experience with contract planning, negotiation, execution, interpretation and maintenance.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to deploy strategies globally/regionally, facilitated by robust implementation and transition plans.
* Generate value in terms of quality, delivery, and cost; contribute significantly to organization’s goals and objectives.
* Experience delivering quality, compliant, timely, well-specified agreements to generate a clear return on investment for GSK. Market knowledge of supplier capabilities (current and future) is required to acquire and maintain competitive advantage.
