Exciting vacancy available for a Reliability Technician working within the Condition Based Monitoring Team (reporting to the CBM Analyst).
This role is based in the Greatham Site.
Contract Duration: 12 Month Contract
The purpose of the role is to provide reliability expertise to maintain and improve the availability of plant to ensure compliance with regulations, EHS standards, and production requirements.
Requirements of the role:
1. Provide the Greatham Site with a rotating equipment lubrication service supported by the practical application of techniques such as (but not limited to) Acoustic Emissions, Vibration Monitoring & Oil Analysis.
2. Interpret the results of oil analysis data to diagnose faults and make recommendations for remedial work.
3. Coordinate the oil analysis programme & lubrication improvement strategy for the site.
4. Use other data systems such as SAP and FIS to improve equipment reliability.
5. Develop and issue reports with KPIs on equipment condition.
6. Take a lead role in the development and optimisation of the site lubrication strategy.
7. Provide reporting for the machines guarding status on site by monitoring and inspecting guarding to current standards.
Successful Candidates will hold the below:
1. Background Mechanical Engineering experience.
2. Qualified to Machine Lubrication Technician Level 1 (MLT1) certified and approved by the International Council for Machinery Lubrication.
3. Be able to work unsupervised managing their own workload based on Site Priorities to ensure compliance to the Lubrication Strategy Routines / Routes.
4. Be trained and experienced in the inspection of machine guarding.
Note: Training can be provided for candidates without MLT1 certification.
