As a key partner to the Capital Finance Director and wider Finance and Business Leadership teams, this role offers significant exposure to the full scope of our UK business. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal value is achieved from our £1.1bn capital investment. This involves carefully balancing priorities related to asset replacement, managing the age of our existing estate, and supporting the growth outlined in our strategic plans. In this role, you will influence capital decision-making among senior stakeholders, ensuring a well-balanced portfolio that includes both returning projects and long-term strategic investments. Your work will be crucial in ensuring all investments are ROCE accretive and fully aligned with the UK strategy. This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity. Lead the UK Strategic Plan, Budget and Forecast process for capital, depreciation, and cash. Deliver high-quality capital planning and review packs, ensuring the Exec and UK Leadership teams are fully engaged in the UK capital strategy, planning, and performance. Ensure that capital allocation is data-driven and that planned capital investments will achieve the Global hurdle rates and KPIs. Drive insight to influence strategy, identifying opportunities, and developing actionable recommendations to ensure they are capitalized on. Work collaboratively with the UK functional FP&A teams to ensure best practices and capital policies are adopted. Maintain strong relationships with UKCF, Group, and Investor Relations to support external reporting requirements. Actively drive continuous improvement within both UK and TBS (India), developing reporting and planning tools and enhancing processes. Work with the Governance Finance Manager and wider project team to support the new Group Capital Management tool. Manage a Finance Graduate and lead a team of three in India (TBS), being an inspiring leader who is comfortable with team development and driving a high-performing culture. 3 Years post qualification experience (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) Experience partnering senior stakeholders Strong communication skills High attention to detail, strong Excel and visualisation skills (mainly PowerPoint) FMCG experience is desirable but not essential
