Established in 2005, Morrison Agri is 100% New Zealand owned and operated. We are a leading player in the dairy industry looking after farms from North Otago to North Canterbury.
Due to our exciting new relationship as a PPP agent, we seek an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team. This role will be based from our Ashburton depot, and you will be responsible for meal-feeding sales from Culverden to Oamaru.
As a specialist Sales Engineer, you will negotiate and secure contracts with new and existing clients. You will be dealing with leads generated from both cold and warm calling. Your keys to success will be your strong customer service and relationship focus, along with excellent time management, organisational, and follow-through skills.
To be successful in this role you will have an extensive background in meal-feeding systems and will know the ins and outs of how these work and the best way for them to be maintained.
We are looking for someone who can:
1. Maintain relationships with key clients ensuring excellent service.
2. Present and negotiate proposals with new and existing clients and provide a positive experience throughout.
3. Assist in proposal specification by quantifying our client's needs and wants, and providing detailed information to our estimator.
4. Has a proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding KPIs.
5. Develop and prepare required internal and external reports.
6. Has a strong background in Sales with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
7. Be able to identify trends and patterns in the industry, and provide feedback to the greater sales team.
