Pre-Commissioning Engineer (Pressure Equipment)
Salary: Basic from £50,000 + Company Car Allowance, Benefits
Location: Hull to York area
A large Blue-Chip organisation is currently recruiting for a Pre-Commissioning Engineer to cover client sites in the Yorkshire area. As a Pre-Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for providing pre-commissioning inspection services for pressure equipment and dangerous goods tanks.
Skills required for a Pre-Commissioning Engineer (Pressure Equipment):
* Qualified to Level 4 Engineering Qualification with practical experience and understanding of the pressure equipment directive.
* Understanding of Pressure Equipment (PED & PSSR Regulations).
* Understanding of carriage of dangerous goods (CDG or ADR Regulations).
* Experience inspecting new or repaired/modified construction pressure equipment and dangerous goods tanks in relevant environments.
* Knowledge of welding processes, procedures, inspections, and defects.
* Ability to communicate complex and technical problems.
* Must reside in the Hull to York area and complete inspections across Yorkshire.
